We set off a flea bomb in our house on Sunday and had to evacuate the house for a couple of hours. So we went to visit Darren. He’s fine, thanks. We sort of turned Rock Band on for a bit. And then a bit turned into a couple of hours. And then a couple of hours turned into four or five.
It was, potentially, quite a waste of a day. My wrists hurt and I didn’t get to see much actual daylight. But on the plus side I’m on the cusp of moving up to Hard, at least on bass (which is the easiest instrument after the triangle). I also learnt the valuable lesson that singing in front of your ‘friends’ is not a fun thing to do.
We’re unsure one way or the other, by the way, about whether the fleas managed to survive the bomb. The boys certainly did. We locked them both out before we left and came home to find that they’d brutally head-butted their way back through the locked cat flap and were very disappointed in us for thinking that they were so easily led.
